Christian Community Development Conference 2022

This gathering is a partnership between CCD Network and Micah Global.

As you know, Micah Global is an international network of Christians active in relief, development, care and advocacy, and our members see themselves participating in God’s mission of holistic transformation through their calling to this work. Given the close connection between the people and work of Christian Community Development Network (CCDN) and Micah Global, the two networks have, for several years, co-operated in running the CCD bi-annual conference. Micah Global does not, therefore, have its own Europe Regional Consultation, but encourages members in Europe and beyond to attend the CCD Conference.

These conferences offer opportunities for networking and capacity building related to the theory and practice of a holistic Community Development approach based on Christian values.

The issue of ‘future fitness’ has become increasingly urgent in these unprecedented times. How is the pandemic, war and the looming climate crisis affecting us? Are we facing a paradigm shift in our relief and development journey? Change is exciting but also hard. We can become set in our ways, yet hungering for transformation. The conference programme is designed to enable us to explore this time of change together.

Micah Global members attending the conference are invited to meet together on the evening of Tuesday 18th October for dinner and a time of networking.
