The Somali Christian Development Network (SOCDEN) is nonprofit and non-governmental organization which is a membership confederation representing a network of Faith Based Organizations from all over Somali speaking region in across horn of Africa.

The coordinator of SOCDEN Rev. Daud Abdi Daud is inviting global society for the boosting Resilience and Adaptation to Climate Change and pcve programme to address the issues by investing in climate change and peace adaptation and climate risk mitigation while simultaneously boosting resilience and contributing to improved social inclusion among displacement affected communities and people particularly at risk of disasters and religiously motivated violence.

SOCDEN calls that actions that support the social integration of displaced persons with their national citizenship through for instance social dialogue and inclusive urban and rural planning will be prioritised. Somali Christian community need to play a central role in the social integration process and the needs of peace integration in which is must be factored in.
